The book explains thoroughly and easy possible way to cook curries with illustrated pictures. The objective of this book is someone to enable to cook a full meal (starter, curry, rice and chapatti) in an ordinary house kitchen. It is unique book of its kind. All the pictures are carefully taken and well related to text. Book has one hundred pages. First few pages explain the few spice and herbs you need in your kitchen, then Starters, accomplish and dips. After that fifty pages of different curries with relative pictures taken by me. Then last twenty three pages explaining how to make different rice and chapattis In the book, I expressed basic spices and herbs needed in a house kitchen, then the preparation and cooking of starters, curries, different rice and chapattis. It has one hundred pages with pictures. . I have been head chef for 25yrs in few well known Indian Restaurants. My experience and people’s demand for this type of book and my ambition to expand the knowledge made me write this book.

Most cook books are all about showing off or suggest recipes that you know you are never going to make.This cook book however, is anything but that. The recipes in this book are all explained clearly and are things that you are likely to cook at home. The author has been a head chef in various places and obviously draws on his years of experience to try and make the recipes simple for your every day home cook. The book gives you some great curry base sauces and most of the meals really bring in that home-cooked feel yet you get the wonderful tastes and smells of those you would experience in your favourite restaurants. It has some really easy side dishes such as chicken pakora and spiced onions as well as some more challenging curry dishes.
This book is essential to anyone looking to make their own curry. The recipes can be adapted to suit your taste and are ideal of you are looking for good basic knowledge.
I can't recommend this book enough, it really is a great little find!

As a lover of Indian food I have been trying to replicate the real deal for years to no avail, until I read this book
and tried some recipes! If you love curries and want an easy to understand recipe that achieves this then go for it! I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Very well explained and clearly thought out cook book and for someone like myself who's not good around the kitchen - A must if your a big curry fan.
The author goes out his way to simplify the cooking methods and shows you how to manipulate all ingredients to create great tasty sauses which is always the base for a good curry.
Couldn't help notice this was volume 1 - Hoping any future books will include a index exclusive of recipes/techniques on hotter and more spicy curries & taste bites as i have always struggled to get heat & spice of really hot curries just right.
Would recommend to home cooking curry lovers for which something was always missing in the recipe to get great results.
